Independence Day
Today was a big day here in Mexico - the day before Independence Day. There are huge celebrations all over the country - most of which climax at midnight with fireworks and more. We were fortunate to have our own celebration right here in our neighborhood. There were TONS of people - we were very glad to not have to find parking as traffic was completely jammed, as there really isn't anywhere to park. We had a good time walking around looking at all of the games to play, food to eat, Mariachis to enjoy and juggler's to be amazed at. It's funny that in California Cinco de Mayo is so huge, but here in Guadalajara no one acknowledged it. And vice-versa for today!
