It's 2009 - can you believe it! 2008 was such an awesome year for us and we are looking forward to what 2009 has in store. We have been enjoying family and friends these past few weeks, all the while raising support for North Carolina and Guatemala.
Here are a few tidbits on the Harder Three:
- We're flying out for Charlotte, NC on Jan. 17th. Only 2 weeks left here in California!
- We will soon no longer be the Harder Three - we will be the Harder Four! The next family member should be arriving around August 23rd in Guatemala. We are thrilled! Our very own US/Guatemalan child. Renee has been having a lot of "morning" sickness (more like all day sickness), so please pray for her.
- It's exciting to report that we've raised over 50% of what we need for the next 16 months! God is very good and above recession and tight holiday budgets. A HUGE thanks to all of you who have committed to partnering with us through prayer and finances.
- We are having our last info meeting tonight, January 3rd. If you are unable to make it but still want to talk to us, please let us know!
Trusting the goodness of Jesus and His love for an even better year where His kingdom comes even more to this earth as it is in heaven.

I'm so excited about this coming year for you guys and my family as well. It's such a blessing to hear how God has pieced so many things together for you. I've been praying about our contribution to God's ministry through you both and look forward to having an answer before you leave on the 17th. Additionally, I'm hoping that the kids and I will be able to come down and visit you at the end of the Summer in Guatemala. Maybe there would be the possibility of us helping out in some capacity if we're able to visit at that time. We'll have to talk more before you leave.
